Till Schönwetter

I am romanticising landscapes, recursion and technology.
I am working as half a wonk (with Miguel Rangil) and a third of the dreamteam.

The AI is on vacation, wonk (Miguel Rangil & Till Schönwetter)

"The AI is on Vacation" humorously subverts the initial promise of a helpful assistant by presenting an AI that's taking a break. Set against a sandy, beach-like backdrop, this GPT-based model playfully dodges typical utility-driven responses, offering evasive replies that challenge the expected functions of such advanced tools.
This project combines the initiative to replace my receptionist job with an AI assistant (How i made my own replacement) and Miguel's PhD research at Universitat Politècnica de València.

Shown in the Interface Cultures exhibition at the Ars Electronica Festival 2024 "HOPE – who will turn the tide", Linz (AT)
and at Speculum Artium, festival of new media culture, Trbovlje (SLO).
