DreamAtlas, with Ahmed Jamal & Emma Silvana Tripaldi dreamatlas.cloud (go and leave a dream)
DreamAtlas is a growing map of shared dreams, in which visitors are invited to contribute personal dream fragments to a collective dream diary. Through algorithmic analysis, individual dreams connect into a visual constellation that reveals shared symbols, themes, and emotions. A repurposed telescope interface guides users through this inner universe, transforming subconscious exploration into a communal experience.
When we exhibit it, the telescope is fitted with electronics so that instead of the night sky it shows the dream constellation, and you move through it by turning the telescope's original gears. Next to it is a small cyberdeck where you can type in a dream of your own. It is added to the atlas right away, and the terminal prints a receipt with your dream, the dreams closest to it, and the coordinates for finding it through the telescope.
